What we do

We focus on methodologies of practice: the how of artistic participation in rural areas.

Our motto

The Methods group is curiosity-driven and has a motto: if it isn’t energising we fall asleep and if it isn’t fun to do we don’t do it.

Our motivation

We are a platform for lively exchange to investigate and share experiences, practice and research. Only by learning from each other’s ways of working can we make our practice stronger.

Our exploration to now has been how arts might play a role in (post) pandemic society. We have learned how our practice has changed through the pandemic and discussed future practice for health, healing, recovery and wellbeing. The communities we work with and for are at the core of all our discussions. Our guests so far have been artists from across the globe who are working in various fields including co-creation, visual arts, theatre, dance, movement and choreography, live art, and cross-arts.
